Walsh Farms

Here are a few pictures of Millie at Walsh Farms last year and this past Saturday. She sure has grown! Last year all she could do was stand up in that one spot. This year she walked and climbed from one pumpkin to another to another....

Last year Millie just tried to eat the corn in the play area and we had to grab her out after 30 seconds. This year we spent a while watching her play and discover new things.

Putting Words Together

Millie is really starting to put words together. Last week she said her first combinations of "Brush Teeth" "Good Job" and "Good Girl." Tonight she was ready for dinner and she said "Eat Lunch" and then "Get Down" when she was finished. Progress!

Millie likes to play with her crayons. She can say the names of about 8 different colors but she usually only remembers the correct name and color for yellow and purple.

Today Millie finally learned to say number seven correctly, so that you can actually understand what she is saying. For the past month she has been saying somthing that sounds like "en" after "sic" and before "eight."

Watching Elmo Video

Millie loves to watch Elmo. This episode is one of her favorites. Elmo is talking about hands, and Millie is using her hands to talk back to Elmo.

Mama and Papa Visit Ohio Stadium

Mama and Papa finally go and see a Buckeyes Game!

Here come the Buckeyes onto the field!

Here is "Script Ohio" & the marching band.

Nature Girl

Millie had a blast playing outside in the nice cool fall weather today. She just loves touching leaves, trees, sticks, flowers, grass, rocks.
Really anything is great.

Wedding on Nantucket Island

This was one of our first views of Nantucket Island
as we arrived on the ferry boat.

Braden and Kelly saying their vows.

Millie had zero interest in the ceremony.
Instead she thought she would lay on her belly in the sand.
I was too busy watching the ceremony, so she got away with it.

We tried to take a family photo, but she just wanted to get back to her "sand angels."

A Day at Peddler's Village

Last week we spent a few hours walking around Peddler's Village. This is an area of restaurants, a hotel and many cute little shops where we had our wedding reception. We took Millie to the spot where we had some of our wedding photos taken outside. Six years and a few months later Millie is posing where we did on our big day, sitting in her stroller.

Here Millie is having a bit of fun riding a miniature carousel and watching a pen full of birds with Papa.
