August 27th Millie had her first day of school this year. It was a gray rainy day all morning but it started to clear up by the time we went outside. Millie started the year riding the bus to and from school but now I drive her to school and she rides the bus home. It gives her 45 minutes more at home if I drive her. She has a really great teacher this year. She tells me a lot more about her day this year. Yesterday it was her turn to be the helper of the day. She got to be the "line leader." She had been waiting for 3 weeks for it to be her turn. All the papers coming home from school have Millie's name written on them in her handwriting this year. This is new and fun too.
